J. K. Petersen
Julie Petersen is a prolific writer in several venues, including nonfiction, literary fiction, magazine articles, opinion-editorial and humor columns, and a variety of education, technology, and business genres.The author has developed curriculum for university-level fine arts, computer imagery, and technology courses and has taught university courses in computer imagery, design, technology, and fine arts at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Western Washington University (WWU). Petersen founded and was twice-elected president of one of the largest active computer user groups in Western Canada, and co-founded a similar group in Washington State.
The author holds degrees in fine arts (B.F.A.) and Education (M.Ed. in computer technology/imagery/fine arts) and has done a year of coursework as a doctoral candidate.
